Welcome to Students' Club at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University. It is our responsibility to deliver a wide array of programs and services that support and collaborate with Academic Affairs at PDPU. In every way possible, we want to enhance the overall learning experience of our students, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Our focus in Students' Club is on student success. We want our graduates to leave their university experience with the knowledge and skills they need to enter the workforce and contribute to their communities. Thus, we work to insure that students engage in the experiences they need to develop as required. There are opportunities for leadership development, interpersonal skill development, and personal growth. Within Students' Club, there are many hard-working faculties who are committed to making sure that our students take advantage of such opportunities and to support them in everyway possible.

Our campus reflects a diverse student population, as well as diverse faculty and staff. Our intent is to assist students in developing and enhancing their interaction skills so that, as graduates in the workplace, they are able to collaborate on teams with diverse employees. We value the richness that diversity brings to a university environment, and we work to support students as they engage broadly in university life.

Objectives:

Cultural Committee:
• To create a culturally rich atmosphere in the institute by organizing literary, dramatic, musical, and other cultural events
• To create a Music club
• To create a Dance club
• To create a Dramatics club
• To organize the celebration of festivals
• To participate in other college festivals and other external events.
• To organize and manage an Annual Festival
• To consult and discuss the progress of events with coordinator of Student Affairs (COSA)
• Any issues referred by the COSA
• Any other event etc.

Sports Committee:
• To look after the various sporting activities throughout the calendar year
• To maximize student participation in sports
• Formulate a calendar for the various sports activities throughout the year
• To create Cricket, Foot Ball, Basket ball, Badminton, Table Tennis facilities and teams etc.
• To decide Captains
• To organize Intra and Inter university sports meet
• To organize Yoga and meditation camps etc.
• To create Adventure Sports Club
• To consult and discuss the progress of events with COSA
• Any issues referred by the COSA

Publication committee:
• To organize Popular/invited lectures of general interest
• To organize the guest lecture for the personality development of student
• To create Discussion club for group discussion etc
• To plan for the Students' Magazine in Hindi and English.
• To create Book lovers meet club
• To create Hobby club
• To consult and discuss the progress of events with COSA

Science and Technology Committee:
• To create Web design and Homepage design Club
• To create Astronomy Club
• To create Electronics club
• To create Programming club
• To create Aero-modelling Club

Debate/ Elocution/ Essay/ Quiz Committee:
• To organize Essay competition on frequent basis,
• To organize Debate competition on frequent basis,
• To organize Elocution Competition on frequent basis
• To organize Quiz competition on frequent basis
• Vivekananda Samiti to put thought of the day.

Hostel Committee:
• To develop a healthier environment in the hostel lives of all students
• To ensure proper residential facilities in the hostel
• To maintain Discipline in Hostel premises
• To decide the guideline for menu and balance diet
• To decide the guideline for maintaining the Food quality
• To be responsible for good House keeping
• To maintain the intra structure and other facilities in hostel premises
• To consult and discuss the progress of events with COSA
• Any issues referred by the COSA

Academic Committee:
• Convey the views, concerns, and problems, related to academics, of the student community to the institute administration
• To put their suggestions for academic improvement
• Organize activities that will enhance the academic aspects of student life in any and every possible way
• To consult and discuss the progress of events with Co-ordinate of Academic Affairs (COAA)
